I really enjoyed the story line and the characters. It was fast paced and I found myself not wanting to put my Kindle down in order to finish Nora & Eli's story. I liked the main characters and found the ancillary characters to be just as engaging as the H/h and I am looking forward to reading about their path to love. Since I did enjoy this read I picked up the other two book Ms. Jordan currently has out in this series. I am looking forward to reading the other story lines with the characters she has introduced so far.At the end of the book the author has a disclaimer about any errors that might be contain in her book ie. spelling etc.... what I would suggest to the author is to hit spell check several times or have someone proof read. I know that when you are closely involved with a piece of writing that sometimes it is hard to catch your own mistakes since it lives in your brain as "perfect" already and the little things (punctuation and spelling) can escape one's notice. The spelling errors weren't bad but if that was fixed and then she could get rid of that disclaimer.

I fell in love with Nora and Elijah from the start. Their love story was captivating and enchanting. Hot and steamy loves scenes between Eli and Nora were exciting but the drama between Nora and her step-brother balance the plot out and made it a complete story. I enjoyed getting to know the other characters in the book as well.
I believe Joyce Jordon shows great talent in story telling because I could not put this book down until I was done. I loved all of the books in this series so far. Yes, there were spelling issues and some grammatical errors but they do not take away from the story. Once those are fixed I have no doubt this book will end up on someone’s top list of books to read. I have recommended Nora and Elijah’s story to my friends as a must read.

Just a fair read for me. Thirty seven year old successful cardiac doctor meets the love of his life, 22 year old girl, when he rear ends her car. I think the author was attempting a sexy gritty read but it just did not quite get there. Nora is a young woman trying to live a quiet life, and in order to avoid a predator step-brother, she knows she may have to pick up and run at any time.
There are some very sexy scenes in the story but overall it was cheesy writing to me. I was rolling my eyes at times. Very predictable.
Elijah is very alpha but almost too much. After only two days of knowing the innocent(yes, virginal) Nora, he is calling her and making demands plus banging on her apt. door late at night. Nora, attempts to stand up for herself, but falls for him. Yada yada....the romance is on and then enter bad step-brother. We meet Nora's good friend, a cop, also happens to be Elijah's half-brother but due to a misunderstanding they do not like each other. They have different last names so Nora is so shocked at the relationship. Which she helps mend as the story unfolds. There are secondary characters that are not fleshed out but are used in spin off's of this story. Bad step brother is foiled after attacking her and on and on we go. Next thing you know , she is living with Elijah. HEA but the trip was trite with weak attempts at hard sex and suspense.
I do not plan to read any more of this author's stories.
Wonderful story. Can't wait for Bradley's and Cooper' s story! There were a couple of typo errors but overall it was thoroughly entertaining and a very fast read. I really loved the bond that was unforgettable amongst the foundation of true friendship that last a lifetime. Enjoyed Nora.s quick wit and good heart despite all of her hardships. Really looking forward to the next book in this series. I hope the we get a sneak peak soon.
